About me
I am a writer and a traveler.

I love rearranging my furniture and decorating for holidays. I can’t live without
chamomile spearmint tea. If I could go back in time, I’d be a flapper in the 1920s.
I always end up checking out more books from the library than I can read in the time allowed (yes, I still check out books from the library).

But what I love most is traveling to a locale — whether a new destination or an old favorite, whether far away or down the street — and sharing the experience with my friends and family, and if I’m lucky, an audience of readers. I have also written about fashion, interior design, skiing, wedding planning, home entertaining and local events, and more recently, I have moved into writing for online marketing and social media.

I have a journalism degree from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. In the past several years, I have moved from Springfield, Missouri, to Vail, Colorado, to Perth, Western Australia, and back again. I was fortunate enough in 2013 to live in France and ski in the Alps. I’ve made it to six of the seven continents long before I ever thought I would, traveling to such countries as Turkey, Greece, Myanmar, Brazil, Bali, Singapore, Croatia, Morocco, Spain and Portugal. I currently live in San Francisco, one of my most favorite cities of all.
